St. Francis and You

Francis of Assisi

Catholic Campus ministry at Wake Forest is inspired by the life and example of Francis of Assisi.  At the age of 24, Francis experienced a conversion of heart and began to serve the poor, to preach conversion and to live out the Gospel.

Franciscans Friars

Father Jude is a Conventual Franciscan friar who has served as a campus minister since 1998. Julie is working toward an advanced degree in Franciscan studies at The Franciscan Institute in New York (want to explore the possibility of learning more about St. Francis of Assisi through a degree in Franciscan studies?).

FrancisCorps

Graduating seniors are encouraged to apply to this top-notch program which has houses in Syracuse, NY and Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Our T-Shirts

Designed by a talented Freshman, even before school started for the semester, our t-shirts express that which is at the heart of our Franciscan approach to ministry on campus.  It includes a quote attributed to Francis of Assisi which reads, "Preach the Gospel; if necessary, use words." We strive to be welcoming to all and invite you to participate in the life of the Wake Forest Catholic Community along with us! We will be selling these at cost (around $7 apiece) throughout the schoolyear.
