St. Ann Catholic Outreach Center is
a Felician mission in Kingstree, South Carolina. Our Sisters there use
the Gospel mandate of “Whatever you do for the least of My brothers and
sisters, you do unto Me” as their guide. The people of the Center try
always to embody the corporal and spiritual works of mercy to all
people, especially to the African-American community of Williamsburg
County, South Carolina.

Most programs at St. Ann are free of charge. The Center is under the auspices of and funded by the Catholic Diocese of Charleston,
with additional funding provided by the Felician Sisters, grants, and
donations from area churches, businesses and individuals.
St.
Ann celebrated its 15th anniversary of operations in 2007. The Felician
presence, our witness to the charism of Blessed Angela by trying to
live out the Gospel mandate found in Matthew 25, has made its mark upon
this place. Volunteers from St. Ann Church and the other Christian
churches of Kingstree throughout the years have truly exemplified the
work of the Holy Spirit.
At St. Ann, we are always happy to encourage both college students and
adults who would like to volunteer to help with our mission.
If you or someone you know is interested in helping St. Ann Catholic
Outreach Center, either as a volunteer, through a monetary donation, or
through a gift of clothing that could help those in one of our
programs, please contact Sister M. Susanne Dziedzic or Sister M. Johnna
Ciezobka, co-directors of the Center, via e-mail or by calling 843 354 9415. |
