Christmas Letter from Father Jude

Father Jude on December 11, 2008

What an exceptional fall semester this has been! We continue to regularly update our new website with stories and pictures of our Catholic students. Our Catholic Community intramural football team won their division title and played their “bowl” game at the BB&T field. Each week we average about 60 hungry students for our Wednesday Join us on retreat in the spring too!Night dinners in our new Catholic lounge. Spring Break-Waaaaaahoooooooo!

Julie, Campus Minister on December 8, 2008

Planning a Spring Break Service Trip is always a challenging assignment for me. It requires me to pray, to keep a positive outlook and to have the faith that "all will be well" and that one way or another, we will have a successful trip. Keep Your Hand to the Plow

Julie, Campus Minister on November 18, 2008

Keep Your Hand to the Plow Reflection and Prayer This reflection uses the words of WFU Founder Samuel Wait from a letter to his wife, Sarah Wait to give a glimpse into his thoughts. As he expresses a temptation to give up his labors on behalf of the school to return home to live on a farm, we see that we are not the only ones who may imagine greener pastures as we strive to serve as ministers. A prayer by Archbishop Oscar Romero on planting seeds which will grow in the future reflects the reality of WFU as it...
